Welcome to the 3D Design Team’s Education Section. Discounted prices are available to education establishments. Please note that proof of education status will be required when placing your order. Options available are:

Vectorworks

Nemetschek North America offer education sites one type of licence, VectorWorks Designer with RenderWorks. Education sites that already have a VectorWorks licence can upgrade to Designer/RenderWorks for one standard upgrade cost.

There are three types of licences for Education:

1. New Users:
VectorWorks Designer/RenderWorks 2008 Lab Seat (minimum 5 user) + Network Dongle (5-10 user, 11-50 user, 51-250 user)
2. Existing Users:
VectorWorks Designer/RenderWorks 2008 Lab Seat Upgrade (minimum 5 user) + Network Dongle if required (5-10 user, 11-50 user, 51-250 user)
3. One year Student/Teacher licence (with education watermark). Need access to the internet for activation.

A School or University purchasing new licences, or upgrading to the current version, qualify for an equal number of FREE Designer/RenderWorks 2008 1 year student licences.

SketchUp

Educational establishments can purchase a minimum of 5 labs seats for their network to qualify.

NEW Teacher training

It is critical that educational establishments provide tutors with an understanding of the leading CAD products. Whether by on-site training or in group sessions the training provides a structured mechanism to give the lecturers the knowledge they require.

Our training courses provide levels of training ranging from introductory courses aimed at new beginners through to advanced courses for experienced tutors. The courses are taught by experienced users and trainers and provide notes and files which can be used as the basis for notes for your own students.

The courses are run by Computers Unlimited, the UK distributor for VectorWorks, SketchUp and other 3D products.
